Based in the county of North Yorkshire in England, my passion for photography started back in 2009 when I took a trip to New York. I took along my ‘Point and Click’ camera but when I got back to the UK I was really disappointed with most of the images of the iconic landmarks in New York and so because of this I went out and bought my first DSLR back in mid 2009. The type of photography that I am passionate about revolves around the urban environment and its stunning, often unnoticed architecture. Due to this I find myself taking images of the interior and exterior of buildings, tunnels, bridges and cityscapes. I also take long exposure images of buildings using whats called a Neutral Density filter. This slows down the light coming into the camera which allows surreal and unusual, but pleasing effects on the final image.
