Originally from Devon, England, my journey in photography began among the rugged coastlines and narrow lanes of the South West. I’ve since traded the rolling hills of the UK for the landscapes of Northern California, but my drive to capture the perfect moment remains the same—whether I’m trackside at a race circuit, on a beach shooting portraits, or exploring San Francisco’s unique architecture. It all started when I borrowed my father’s Zenit TTL. Managing the unique depth-of-field challenges of keratoconus has only deepened my commitment to the craft, forcing a reliance on technical accuracy and 'gut feeling' that defines my work today. Navigating the shift from film to digital has sharpened this eye for detail, leading me to my current setup: a combination of Nikon DSLR and Fujifilm X-series systems. For me, photography is about bridging that gap between technical precision and the raw, atmospheric beauty of the world around us.
