A keen amateur in the North East of the UK. My inspiration seems to come in waves with periods of creative blindness. I recently ditched my DSLR (cropped) and tried a compact with a limited zoom, this I found frustrating and just didn't get on with it. I was impressed with the Micro Four Thirds sensor on the Lumix so I have stuck with that format as it more portable and the lens are over half the size of crops sensor ... I'm not rich, far from it so all my equipment is pre-loved.I try to enter the challenges with fresh recently taken images and loathe the winning photos that are recycled and have been milked dry by entering them in every relevant competition for years and years. Get off your arses and take new ones If I see the same old images coming round again and again they get skipped.
