Photography had been a hobby for many years when someone asked me to shoot a wedding...Talk about nerve-wracking! All went well however and I started taking it more seriously, chipping away at what I considered to be my weakest points until I felt ready to throw myself in at the deep end and try shooting at a local event. I wound up volunteering to cover a photography shortage for one day of the event - which included a dog show, and I have never shot so many dogs in my life! - and coming up in 2017 I have been asked to be official photographer at another local event. I don't see myself becoming famous any time soon or quitting the day job, but it's nice to be shooting for someone other than just myself.
