Alixx Morrigan

Each of my images has its own story; its ‘light’ moment. Moving through landscapes and cities, travelling as observer and participant with camera in hand, I am a ‘collector’ of images that re-present the familiar, the day to day. Geometries in nature; rock-face lines; circular forms in a stack of firewood; the dissolution of form in clouds and water; a tree’s structure in relationship with a landscape, as well as the very static structure of an architectural building … My images invite reflection on beauty as well as on more troubling forms in contemporary life.
