I am a person in long-term recovery from a substance use disorder, and I started selling my photography in an effort to fund a scholarship fund for students in recovery at WVU. Since 2020, this effort has contributed to 5 students in recovery receiving $1,000 scholarships. In the process, I have developed a passion for photography and made the decision to pursue a career in photography. I am beginning a BA Digital Photography program through Arizona State University in Jan. 2023, while continuing to work as Program Coordinator for the WVU Collegiate Recovery Program.
