Arun Baby

My name is Arun Baby, born in 1994 in Kerala, India, but raised in the UAE, which I call home. I wear two hats in life, an Accountant by profession and a Photographer by passion. Both have shaped me in ways that reflect patience, sacrifice, and gratitude. My love for photography began in 2010, when my father passed down his Nokia N73 Music Edition after he upgraded. That simple gift was precious, it became the start of a journey that shaped how I see the world. For years, I captured moments with whatever device I carried, never letting the lack of professional gear hold me back. After thirteen long years, in 2023, I finally bought my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 250D. By then, photography had already taught me resilience, creativity, and the joy of cherishing every frame of life. My professional path started in 2018 as a Financial Trainee at Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Today, I serve as a Project Accountant in Abu Dhabi, managing clients and projects worth over AED 640 million. The road wasn’t easy. I had responsibilities beyond myself, supporting my family, helping with my elder sister’s marriage, and funding my younger sister’s education. Though they now stand in stronger positions than I do, I carry no regrets, only happiness that I could help them get there. Faith, family, and passion guide me. I am a Christian Catholic who puts my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ above all. My parents mean the world to me, and my sisters are my pride. Outside work, I am a hardcore DC fan, Batman and Superman being my eternal heroes, who to me, never lose any fight. Life has taught me that growth takes time, sacrifice, and heart. I still have much to learn, both as an Accountant and as a Photographer, but the journey itself is my greatest reward.
