I’m a new Mimi that accidentally found a hobby. I’ve always enjoyed taking photos with my phone but they just sat there in the cloud and I would go through them every now and again on my computer or phone. When my Grandson was born in late 2016 I wanted to print the photos that so had taken of him on my phone and frame them. I had a beautiful Christmas photo I was so excited to pick up. When I opened the envelope, I was disappointed to see that while it looked great on my phone, it was terrible in print. I decided to purchase a camera in hopes I could produce some print worthy photos. Once I started learning about all the technical things that go into producing well exposed sharp images, I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough information and I was so excited to apply things I had learned while practicing. I soon realized that I loved taking photos of everything including my Grandson. Photography makes me happy and it’s a great stress reliever from my paying gig as an ER Nurse.
