I have learned most everything I know about photography by reading and doing. I shoot a wide range of nature subjects, but my favorites are the small arthropods, mostly insects and spiders. I try to shoot my subjects from a variety of angles as this makes identification of my subjects more possible, but the shots I like the most are mug shots of bugs faces - look em in the eye and shoot em!
