My name is Behzad Golcheshmeh. I was born in 1987 in Gonbad-e Kavous, Iran. In 2010, I received my bachelor's degree in software engineering. As a member of my hometown's photographers society, I’ve been doing freelance photography for over ten years, producing a variety of visual work including commercial teasers for banks. In addition, I began a career as a director, creating several documentaries, short films and stage plays addressing a range of social issues; Our Cinema: A documentary about dying theatres in Iran, Contact: A short depicting challenges in communication during the pandemic. I am also the head of the film association in Gonbad-e Kavus. In addition I’m a chairman of Honar-e Ghalam art institute.
