Bella Ouellette is a developing photographer whose work explores the relationship between light, shadow, and form. Working primarily in controlled studio settings, she uses lighting as both a technical tool and a creative subject, shaping mood, contrast, and depth within her images. Her work often focuses on still life, where simple objects such as fruit, glass, or crystals are transformed through intentional lighting and composition. By using minimal setups, reflective surfaces, and dark backgrounds, Bella creates images that emphasize texture, separation, and subtle detail. Currently refining her skills, Bella is exploring both in-camera techniques and post-processing to strengthen her visual outcomes. While she values achieving strong results during the shoot, she is also incorporating editing tools to enhance and complete her creative vision. As a photography student, Bella is building a body of work centered on contrast, clarity, and emotional tone. Her goal is to create images that feel both deliberate and natural, allowing light itself to become the main storytelling element.
