Bubble and squeak

I am not the romantic ilk; never have been and never will be. When I take photos, I don't envision idyllic settings or moonlight trysts. I simply imagine myself having to unravel a crime scene: cordon off the useful area in my mind's eye, place my suspects carefully in the frame, then let foreground and background restrain my fertile imagination and capture the image I am looking for. My CMOS sensor will do the rest, at my behest and upon my exposure, ISO and aperture instructions. From photons to photos, that's what it is all about.
