I'm mainly a people photographer: weddings, portraits and events but also like a bimble round the countryside or town so my feed is a total mixture. I have been shooting a lot of music - mostly heavy metal, some blues, some punk and very occasionally, my first love - folk. I got my first camera at the age of 11 - a Kodak 126, having previously used my grandmother's Baby Brownie! Since then, there's been a succession of 35mm (I got my first Yashica in 1975), SLR's and then on to DSLRs. Now moving towards mirrorless - I've been a Canon girl since 2008 when I got the 400d, followed by the 550d, and the 7d, then went full frame with the 5d mk 3 and the EOS-R. Then came the autoimmune disease, PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica - which is like rheumatoid arthritis for muscles and tendons and can only be treated by steroids). So now I'm a Micro Four Thirds shooter, with just one camera - the OM-3 plus the equivalent of all my old lenses. Just one camera nowadays, I can't carry more until I beat this disease.
