Motivated by traveling and observing things with passion, I am currently an Italian amateur photographer living in London. The camera is my third eye, it is an eye with memory, it catches and keeps what could be forever gone. I prefer taking photos of details, anything which can be seen better and better by getting closer and closer to it. It is like having the impression to reach the soul of that object. Photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Andre' Kertesz inspired me and proved how intense, delightful and powerful taking a photograph can be. It is not just about what you can see but also about the invisible, what is not given or shown. Photography is also for sharing. Whatever one has had the opportunity to look at and indulge in can be observed and appreciated by others so that it becomes eternal. Reality flows endlessly before our eyes, and taking a photograph is with no doubt a way of retaining that physical and intellectual pleasure of knowing and discovering.
