Chantal Ramard

My name is Chantal Ramard and I am French. When I met Anthony, my companion, seven years ago, photography was already my passion, but only my entourage knew my work.                                                 My photographic universe has now expanded, thanks to the advice and confidence of Anthony and also thanks to our Indian journey from January to March 2012.  We crossed southern India during these three months, according to our favorites, closer to people, sharing their means of transport and sometimes their homes.  Over 15,000 km traveled from Tamil Nadu to Rajasthan, still off the beaten track, far from the tourist sites, our cameras have become a real sesame to meet these beautiful people who have done us the honor to be photographed.  They allowed us, thanks to their warm confidence to preserve this intimate and primordial relationship for me between heart and eyes. Some photographic competitions won in England have reinforced my desire to show, to share my work and to evolve in this artistic dimension.
