Chris St. Michael

I live in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. I'm retired and became more serious about photography a couple of years ago in 2015 while out hiking in some local woods. There I was able to capture some photos of deer, but soon realized I needed to invest in some quality gear if I am to take quality images. Since then my passion has grown. I was encouraged by a friend to entered a few contests. In the past two years I have won 1st place out over 6000 photos in a national wildlife competition for Nature Canada. I placed runner up in Reflections of Nature competition for Canadian Wildlife Federation. I have been published in Florida States Parks, Photography Week, Canadian Wildlife, as well my photos have been featured in two Canadian Geographic Calendars.
