Chris Stamatiou is a versatile photographer based in Pretoria, South Africa, with his talents extending into numerous photographic fields. He obtained his diploma at the National College of Photography and later enrolled in the Advanced Program at Market Photo Workshop. In the ensuing years he participated in workshops hosted by local and international photographers, such as Roger Ballen and Mary Ellen Mark, and recently received an Honorable Mention at the 2020 International Photography Awards. His personal work has been exhibited in renowned galleries around Europe and Africa, exploring concepts of marginalization, time, change, and urban habitation.
