Im addicted to photography. I didn’t know until I was 50. Raising kids, etc… I’m an amateur photographer and painter that likes to bring out the colors and movement of my photos through filters. I then like to paint what I shoot. I just like to take my photos, and create art from them. I’ve just recently been feeling confident enough to start attempting to share photos with no corruption filters. Still working on that confidence. Trying to learn something new every day. I’m really enjoying looking at everyone’s amazing photos! My Dad was an international award winning photographer, and I grew up working at his studio at the age of 10, lived in a large house with the studio in the front in Ohio. He taught me a great deal about composition and lighting. Showing my age here, but I worked in the darkroom, retouched negatives, retouched photos, learned airbrushing, and was the best sales person the studio had at age 15. . While I’m not a pro, I enjoy photography more than just about anything else, with painting my photos a very close second. I especially like to photograph wildlife in landscapes, and am always hoping that opportunity will present itself to me. I have come to realize that finding wildlife and being a late sleeper don’t go well together. Working on that. Someday, I want a great camera.
