I'm a retired RAF and airline pilot. Working, I always had a camera in my bag and flying long range gave me plenty of opportunities for photographing foreign places and people. When I stoped work it gave me the chance to take my photography up another level. I travel as much as I can, although it's often in Europe in my vintage car. An MG TD.
