Initially I am self-taught by learning from camera magazines, bought a compact and started to learn the basics of photography. I decided a course in photography would cement what I’d learnt through trial & error. In recent years I joined a camera club to have my photos critiqued by judges. I attended workshops and worked with professional photographers to learn techniques such as long exposure, ICM; managing workflow, using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop to edit photos. I also joined a couple of photography groups in Facebook. I shoot with Canon EOS R5M2 with RF lenses. My backup camera is an iPhone and possibly Canon R6M3 in the near future.. In the past I’d used Nikon, Olympus, Kodak and Polaroid cameras.
