After a year of working under other employers, Marissa Kaye Connelly decided it was time to put her career in her own hands. In June 2023, Connelly opened her humble photography studio in Newport News, VA. The studio is used to produce and sell her own work, and is available to local photographers to rent. The struggle of finding indoors spaces to photograph at an affordable cost is difficult, so Connelly is providing one more. At 20 years old, Connelly specializes in a bit of everything, but focuses on weddings, senior portraits, and birthday photography. No matter the session, she provides a unique and personalized experience for each of her clients. Marissa takes pride in her ability to bring out a clients' personalities in the photos and help them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. With Connelly Productions, her photography is more then just pictures. It's memories.
