When I was 5 years old, my mother bought the very first Kodak InstaFilm Camara. I fell in love with that camara and what I could do with it, and it was all downhill from there! My parents were very encouraging and supported my creativity through college where I earned my degree in Digital photography. I believe there are 4 things about me that set me apart from most photographers: 1) I’m a dreamer, a creative thinker. 2) I studied Technical and Theater Arts for seven years. The skills that I learned then, are used in my photography almost constantly; creating set designs, costumes, makeup, being able to recognize the uniqueness of a situation, the lighting skills, how to create on a budget, and more. I am also an avid reader and writer, which only aids my creativity. 3) I am a very passionate person, regardless of what it is, if I’m involved, there’s passion. 4) I care very deeply about many “earthly “and “Human Rights” subjects (global warming, starvation), and it reflects in quite a bit of my work. I am adept at working in a wide variety of photographic genres, but I specialize in Freelance Commercial Photography, including Products, Architecture, Real estate, Business and Corporate Headshots, Documentary & Photojournalism promotional work, and marketing collateral work. I also enjoy photographing nature, street photography, macro photography, pinhole photography, still life (stock/cover) photography, and pet projects. I believe, as a photographer that I have the responsibility to tell our story to share for generations to come. It is THE one and only language on earth that all people, regardless of where on the globe we live, can all understand. I believe that photographers also have the responsibility of preserving our history. Therefore, I also work with Documentation, Photojournalism, and photo-restoration projects.
