Being now 76 years observing our world, I began using a Nikon F when I was 16. It soon became obvious that we don’t really look and see the marvels of a moment and the beautiful compositions within our view and reach with a camera. Teaching for 36 years, mainly mathematics and art, I finally had a chance to teach it in a high school…right at the time digital photography was making its presence known. I found one shouldn’t mix business with pleasure. Engaging in photography daily was a job…not what I wanted or needed with photography. I soon went back to teaching math. I did continue some business efforts with photography by becoming engaged in political photography for candidate. Quite fun, but only on a few times a year basis. Being retired, every adventure into the world traveling offers immense opportunities to capture what I see. I have always been a lover of Nikon, and currently use the Z6 and Z7.
