Hi this is me Dibakar Roy from Kolkata, India. I am a Medical Representative and a Professional Photographer also. I got my first Kodak point & shoot camera in the year 2001 and I bought my first dslr, a Canon 1200 D at the end of 2015 and till now I am using it. I never learned photography from any institute. My learning process is my everyday practice and seeing others' photography. At the very beginning I only shoot the beauty of nature at my surroundings. And from then I had to try to participate in many exhibitions, contests, workshops etc. My first big achievement came from Sanctuary Nature Foundation, I was awarded an Honorable Mention in The Sanctuary Wildlife Award 2017. And after that so many awards and appreciations have come to my achievements.Among all theses most precious are DCP Upcoming Talent Photographer Of The Year 2018, 2nd Winner in The Eyewin Awards 2019, 2nd Winner of The RHS Photographic Competition 2019, London, The Overall Winner Of GWT's 2020 Wildlife Photography Competition, London, Honourable Mention in Transversalidades Europe 2020, Winner of Sony Great Little Moments 2021 and very recently 1st Prize Winner in the EISA Photography Maestro Contest 2021 , India. I think Photography is the process of getting knowledge, involvement and improvement. I learn everyday to see everyone's photos but never try to copy them. Every time I try to click on every normal moment of everyday life from my own perspective and try to give a unique presentation. Love and affections are the main part of every passion, nothing else. It's my great pleasure to achieve distinctions like EFIAP , EFIP Hon.CPE, G.APS from many National and International Photographic bodies. Now I am associated with the Plankton Exhibition as a Documentary Photographer.Nowadays I am doing a Documentary on Rural Bengal.
