Field Mycologist, NAMA photography award winner and long time observation/Photography contributor to Mushroomobserver.org, iNaturalist.org and Published author of "Fungal Freedom-A Guide To Wild Mushrooms Of Washington State." Specializing in all major Genera of fungi, slime molds, myco-heterotrophic flowering plants, Lichens and tree associates in the Pacific Northwest(Washington State specifically), along with fungi of Iowa and Missouri. I have contributed thousands of images and descriptions of a multitude of fungi, birds and other critters that I know and love and seek out to learn new taxa on a daily basis. Currently cited worldwide from Finland, Europe and The United States as an expert in mushroom identification and photography of fleshy fungi. I use predominantly a simple Canon powershot150is for most all photos taken. Have also just begun work with Canon SX520 HS for birding and long distance images.
