I have been taking photographs since the the year fifty-wurble... when I was given a second hand box Brownie for a birthday present.... that was followed by assorted, newer versions of the same thing. In the mid sixties I was given a NEW Practika Nova A slr and a 50mm lens... followed quickly by a 200mm lens and some extension tubes.... all M42... and I worked in B&W 'cos it was cheap!! The bathroom became my darkroom.... I constructed a wooden, window shutter... and had a board with a basin at the tap end that fitted over the bath... the enlarger and electricity was the other end by the door. And I learned to shoot to crop!! The shutter blind on the Nova died in the late seventies.... and I wandered around, lost.... and making windows on scenes with my hands.... then I discovered Pentax... the ME Super.... and have been a Pentaxian ever since.
