Hi! Welcome to my about page. I have been interested in photography for most of my life. In fact, my husband gifted me my first camera on my 18th birthday, and I have been taking pics ever since. However, with a full career in academia and a family, photography was more of a nice hobby than a serious pursuit. A few years ago, I updated my camera and finally started taking my photography more seriously. My husband inherited my old equipment, and now, we share a passion for photography and travel. We plan all future travel around the shots we want to capture. Our interest are vast...we enjoy all nature photography from landscapes to wildlife to the night skies and, of course, birds. We have discovered that when all else fails birds are always abundant. As a result, I have discovered intense enjoyment from watching and photographing birds. Now retired, my plans are to spend more time with my photography and expanding my portfolio.
