I am an amateur nature and wildlife photographer and a self described earth nerd, endlessly curious about how landscapes, weather, and living systems interact. I love life in all its forms, a perspective shaped deeply by my primary occupation as an ER registered nurse, where I witness both the fragility and resilience of living beings every day. Photography is where that awareness finds balance. I am drawn to quiet places and fleeting moments where light, atmosphere, and land briefly align, often favoring subtlety over spectacle. I spend time learning a place before photographing it, allowing conditions to unfold naturally rather than forcing an image. Fog, overcast light, and transitional moments are recurring elements in my work, inviting a more contemplative experience. Beyond making images, I am invested in conservation and stewardship. My work is rooted in respect for the natural world and a belief that understanding and connection are essential to protecting it. Through my photographs, I aim to create honest, immersive images that encourage curiosity, care, and a deeper appreciation for the environments we share.
