Neil Losin

Science and Nature Photographer

Neil Losin is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, and writer. He’s been using photography and video to tell science, nature, and conservation stories for more than a decade. His photographs have won top honors in international photo competitions and been published in Nature, Science, Nature Conservancy, and other books and magazines worldwide. Neil earned his Ph.D. at UCLA in 2012, studying the ecology, evolution, and behavior of invasive Anolis lizards in Florida and the Caribbean. Neil co-founded Day’s Edge Productions in 2010 to bring science and conservation stories to broad audiences through creative visual media. Day’s Edge Productions produces multimedia stories for clients like National Geographic, Smithsonian Channel, World Wildlife Fund, National Science Foundation, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and others.
