Georgia Evans

Georgia Evans is a photographer from Loveland, Colorado, USA. Georgia has learned about wildlife and wilderness firsthand by spending time in the backcountry camping, sea kayaking, horseback trips, burro trips, canoeing and hiking. Georgia was a city kid who actually grew up in Los Angelos and Dallas but had a craving to get away from it all. So at age 20 she saved up by waitressing and working as a guest ranch desk clerk and horseback wrangler in Colorado until she had enough money for an Outward Bound trip one summer in Minnesota. Time spent on this four week wilderness canoe trip with her first Nikon camera in the Minnesota and Canada Boundary Waters helped spark her growing interest in photography and all things wild and western..
