Gettingsphotography

My name is Thomas J. Gettings, I've been a photographer since I could hold a camera and point it in the right direction (although my images may not have been considered anything but some point and shoot snap shots). My father Thomas L. Gettings at the time was the director of Photography for a Publishing house based in Eastern Pa, Rodale Press. Rodale was responsible for the publishing of Men's Health, Backpacker, Bicycling, Prevention, Organic Gardening, and many other books and magazines. As director he was more on the business end of the department but whenever given the chance he was out making images and I was able to tag along with since the ripe age of about 6 or so. Either way about 20 years ago we established Gettings Photography traveling the country from coast to coast capturing landscapes and story images to show the beauty of this great country.
