Grovehouse

I have been involved in photography for decades.The focus of my work is: black and white, street, architecture and urban. What I like about black and white is that it allows you to concentrate on the image itself, rather than the colour. You can pinpoint certain details in the composition, which may have been obscured by colour. Colour is sometimes distracts and obscures the texture and form of the subject and diverts your attention My photography incorporates quirky concepts portraying edgy perspectives, using creative techniques with Photoshop and Silver Efex Pro. Influences in my work are the award winning photographers: Henri Cartier Bresson, Bill Brandt, Bert Hardy, and Robert Capa, and the other gods from Magnum.
