Professional Landscape Photographer based near Forres in Scotland. I operate through my website Transient Light and through that I sell my images to books, magazines, CD sleeves, website headers and produce large format photographic prints which are sold all over the world. Perhaps my unique selling point is that I am now one of the very few professionals around that still shoots almost exclusively with film using an old Pentax 67II on Fuji Velvia 50 and I do so for no other reason than I enjoy using it and I love the squarish format.. One of the privileges that I have is to live close to some of the very finest landscapes in the world and as such I get enormous pleasure showing off the delights of Scotland's landscapes to folk from various parts of the planet. As such I conduct photographic workshops and, 1-2-1 courses, usually in Scotland but occasionally abroad which are now so popular that I am in the fortunate position of not having to advertise any longer as they tend to fill up by word of mouth. The only advice I can offer up and comiing landscapers is enjoy your photography, shoot for your pleasure not somebody elses and you will probably find that your best pictures will resonate with others regardless.
