I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I started with mum's Brownie Box Camera back in the 1950s when I was 8 or so. I then saved up and purchased a Kodak Instamatic camera in the 1960s. In the early 1970s I progressed to a 35mm Hanimax and then my first SLR, an Asahi Pentax. At this time I was mostly shooting on positive slide film however after setting up a darkroom I began shooting in black and white. Decades past and I fell in love with Canon cameras. Today I use a Canon EOS 6D but looking at upgrading it shortly. I have loved all genres of photography from micro, macro to landscapes. I have shot weddings and events for friends and have monetised my photographs within the tourism industry.
