i am 64 years young. currently reside in Sydney Australia. Married with two daughters currently 25 and 23. we moved here to Australia in Feb 2001 from New Zealand. I have had an interest in photography since my early 20's getting my first camera at 24 an old Minolta XG1 i believe it was film camera. Over the past years photography as had to take a back seat as family developed and a mortgage, thus, leaving no spare cash for some good gear to work with. I currently work as a heavy vehicle driver here in Sydney. now closer to the retirement age and all the kids gone on the own life adventures and marriage it now gives me time to get out with some fresh new gear and lens to restart what i started all them years ago. During COVID in 2019-2020 i did a professional photography course, but that is only good if you are able to put into practice, well that wasn't possible with the current equipment i had. forward the years now to 2023, now in a position to replace my no good gear and continue to test the waters with my new gear, Nikon D780, love it.
