I started out with film photography in 1982. When I went to college in 1985 to study photojournalism I my photography took a huge leap from amateur to semi-professional. I expanded from 35mm to medium format and then to large format photography. When digital photography came out I purchased my first digital camera in 1999 and have evolved with technology. I currently use Nikon DSLRs and a variety of Nikon glass. About 5 years ago I felt there was something missing from my photographs and went back to shooting film. My main formats are 35mm and medium format. I have really liked the results from film. However, I still use digital when the assignment calls for it. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
