I am not a professional photographer, but I have dabbled for fun with since a young teen, including taking three photography classes throughout High School since was able to. (One at my original high school, two at another, and one of those being outdoor photography specifically). I went to college for cinema where I ended up consequentially learning a lot more about the technical side of photography due to what I learned about cinematography... Although I focused in video editing, I self-taught myself a lot after being also enthusiastic about cinematography, which directly translated to finally understanding in-depth technical expertise regarding photography. Cinematography is just photography for video, after all. The current camera I have and use is one I have used for nearly a decade now... It is the GH-2, cheap and micro four thirds, but originally bought (used) for the intention of getting still fairly powerful video, as well as ability to lens change, on a budget. The camera is far from professional standards, lacking the proper full sensor size, but it gets the job done when you simply use it for fun.
