I love photography. It is a hobby but I take my camera everywhere in case I see a great subject to capture with my camera. I have been doing photography for about 4 years. When I started I knew nothing about my camera. I was given my EOS Canon as a gift and I went out everyday with the manual until I mastered most of the features that I needed to take reasonable photos. I did an online course over two years which was helpful as I had assignments to complete and I received feedback from tutors, however I did not have the advantage of a studio and lighting etc. I have taught myself some Photoshop by trial and error, watching You Tube and picking other photographers' brains. I like to enter competitions as it makes you try harder and even though I get disappointed in my own images when I see the work of more experienced and talented photographers, it does make me strive to improve. I am going to complete another course that will be at a college with a studio and lessons in Photoshop as well. One day I might win a competition!
