Jens Schommer

Jens Schommer was born on November 12, 1968 in Bernkastel-Kues on the Mosel (Germany). After his business education, he moved to Cologne to study. After studying communications at the Westdeutsche Akademie für Kommunikation in Cologne, he came to photography more intensively. He developed there u. a. A concept for the event 'THE BILDFORUM' in Herten / Westphalia - a four-week large-scale event of the company AGFA on all topics of photography. Through various professional stations in Cologne (advertising agencies, media agency, comedy club), he moved to Berlin. There he worked u. a. in the gallery futura in Berlin Friedenau. From 2007, he exhibited his photographs for the first time as part of group exhibitions in Berlin (Galerie LAINE-ART, Atelier CROSS ART, The Ballery).  His photos were published u. a. in the victory column, blu, BOX Cologne, 20 minutes Cologne, in the book, My gay eye ', as well as online u. a.
