Jocelyn (b. 1985) is an Albuquerque-based professional photographer with over two decades of experience capturing the beauty of the world around her. Her interest in photography began in high school in 2000, when she took her first photography class, learned to develop film, and received her first SLR camera. That early passion led to her work being featured in the Albuquerque Museum’s 2003 Focus on Youth Exhibit, where she earned second place in the photo journal category. Her journal documented her high school years through landscapes and everyday objects, including street signs and colored pencils. In 2005 and 2006, Jocelyn’s photographs of Cochiti Lake and a petroglyph were exhibited at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. More recently, she received Honorable Mentions at both the 2021 New Mexico State Fair and the 2021 Monochrome Photography Awards for a photograph taken at White Sands National Park. In 2022, Jocelyn joined a nationwide company as a photographer and had three photographs exhibited at the New Mexico State Fair. Her work continued to be featured at the State Fair in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, she was awarded second and third place at the New Mexico State Fair. Her work has also been exhibited in the New Mexico Art League Black & White Exhibit in 2023 and 2025. Through her photography, Jocelyn aims to inspire others to slow down and appreciate the world and its many details.
