My approach to photography is best described as spontaneous – seeking to recapture for the viewer the same mood and atmosphere that drew me to the subject in the first place. I’m a photographer who sees digital imaging as a tool, rather than a box of tricks. I enjoy competitive photography and have, over the years, gained acceptances into many photographic exhibition, both here in the UK and around the world. I have distinctions from British Photographic Exhibition, of which I currently hold their Association Distinction (ABPE). I also have a distinction from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB). And finally, the excellence award from the International Federation of Photographic Art (EFIAP). My passion is for Monochrome Street Portraiture and Digital Infrared Photography.
