Always a snapper, but rather late to "real" photography. It was only a few years ago that I began to learn and I'm now a bit old so I suppose it's never too late. I enjoy a range of genres, particularly industrial and architectural photography and grungy subjects especially wabi sabi. In 2022 I worked on a series regarding a nearby railway heritage site in considerable disrepair and over the year much of the interest was lost by the sale of machinery, vandalism and unsympathetic "repairs". My hunch was timely and I'm pleased with the achievement as many of my pictures can no longer be made I have also started exploring Infra-red. I am a "hunter" as I prefer to find my subjects rather than cultivate them in set ups. I wish I had started earlier, but I'm making up for lost time. Years of living in Indonesia have enriched my life and provided many photographic subjects.
