Hello! and thanks for stopping by My photography journey began over 25 years ago. I started learning the trade on the Minolta Maxxum 7000—the world’s first truly successful autofocus SLR—which taught me the nuances of film and the 'hard way' of manual composition. In 2005, I set my professional gear aside to focus on a new chapter: raising my first child, and second child in 2009. While I kept a 'point-and-shoot' handy for family memories, my deep passion for the craft stayed tucked away in a camera bag for nearly two decades. The spark returned in 2024 when my son, then a junior at our local career center, discovered photography in one of his classes. Pulling that dust-covered bag out of storage and cleaning up the old Minolta brought it all back. Today, I’ve embraced the digital age with a Canon 90D, blending my technical roots with today’s creative possibilities.
