My journey started in the early 80's at Richmond College in Sheffield, where I studied photography part-time for 2 years. It was a time before digital, when for hours on end you sat in a dark room with rolls of film to process. Unfortunately, my job and personal circumstances didn't allow me to pursue a life in photography and I took a long break until a few years ago when I introduced myself to this digital world. Times changed; life changed. I have a normal job with normal hours, which means I can do what I love. Being fortunate enough to live on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park with its irresistible charm and allure, in 2014 my digital journey began. The introduction to digital was with a Nikon D3300 and 2 kit lenses. I have since progressed, but my D3300 is still used when I need an extra body and the lenses I have permit it. I am still learning and enjoying the challenges I sometimes face, and I love it.
