Keith Smith

Having spent a lifetime career in the caring services, thirty plus years as a nurse followed by a further twenty years teaching first aid, I never had the time to follow my passion for photography. Now that I am semi-retired I like to get out and about with my trusty Canon EOS 5D. My biggest passion is wildlife although I am happy to point the camera at anything that might make a nice picture. I have never been particularly 'artistic' so like most of my photos to look like the picture that I saw through my own eyes and not changed beyond recognition through post processing. I am still learning and since joining Photocrowd a few weeks ago have learnt a lot through studying other photographers' entries. My primary target is to get into the top 10% in contests entered. My wife keeps telling me off when I say that her photos are better than mine.... so the competition is heating up!
