Kopciuszek was born during a difficult period of Soviet Communist dominance. Despite the fact she was only a child the political situation influenced her perception on life and the way she was living it. When she moved abroad in 2007 she encountered a whole new world which was alien to anything she knew. After 3 years battling depression and an inner conflict of values and beliefs, she found peace and fulfilment in photography. Her work deals with raw emotions, new experiences, deep passion and immense love for "her little black box". Every image has a concealed meaning, a story behind it however big or small. Kopciuszek shares these stories with viewers, to connect with them and to allure them into her magical world where happiness and sadness bring people equal joy. With a background in Information Technology and Computer Science, Kopciuszek uses software to modify her images and achieve a union of physical and virtual to take the viewer on a journey exploring human life.
