No one could steal my first camera, a Polaroid, out of my ten year old hands. My pet birds, cat and dolls were the predominant subjects of my photos. However, I also shot several dress-up fashion shows. I graduated onto shooting with a point and shoot Olympus camera throughout high school. Nature began to run its course in my photographic proclivities. I started experimenting with different kinds of light and using monochrome filters. Finally, I was introduced to the world of SLR's while attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, Ca. I continue to invest my photographic skills in the non-human natural world.
