I started taking photographs for pleasure and as a hobby in 2007 when my husband bought me a Konica Minolta Dynax 5 DSLR as a gift for my birthday. I had always had a camera and taken snaps of my family and friends at events or on holiday, but there was nothing extraordinary about the pictures. However that all changed the moment I pressed the shutter and was able to view the picture I had just taken with my shiny new camera. Safe to say I was and still am absolutely captivated by the power of the camera.
