In 2022 for my 40th birthday I decided to leave the chaotic Milan and move to a small village in the Dolomiti area called Dobbiaco (Toblach) close to the Austrian border. I inevitably fell in love with this place and I spent the first year shooting thousands of photos with my smartphone. At the end of the summer of 2023 a friend of mine sold me his very old but still very good Canon Eos 7D and since then I spent every free day from work hiking, exploring and shooting. After a few months and a few thousands of photos taken I collected my favorites (about 60) and I published a small photobook representing the village where I live and the surrounding area and I started selling it locally. Now I'm planning to explore the whole Dolomitic area and hopefully making landscape photography my main job.
