Expert I am a biodiversity conservationist and environmental travel photographer, having read for a degree in photography. My training in biodiversity conservation reflects my desire to understand the fundamental connections between humans and their environment. Training as an environmental photographer, I look not only at the aesthetics and the light of the world around me but also instill understanding and insight to my imagery. Specialist I have photographed in China, France, India, South Africa, Antarctica, Mexico, the Arctic Region in Canada, Colombia, Panama and about 30 other countries. I specialise in travel and environmental photography, shooting stories on issues that range from jails for bears to Buddhist sacred sites to Inuit experiences and development. Experienced Covering stories throughout the world, often in remote and challenging locations, I have the experience, logistical management skills and sense of humour to get the job done. I have shot for an ever increasing list of non-profit groups, magazines and commercial clients that include Heineken International, National Geographic, KLM/Air France Airlines, Djoser Travel. Passion With a distinct and creative eye I strongly believe in photography, not only as a fine art form, but more importantly as a tool to communicate a message, to ‘open eyes’, to raise awareness. My passion for the natural world along with my fascination in the life forms that move within it, are the driving force of my inspiration. My inspiration and passion are spiritually based. We are all One and we need to learn to take care of each other and the planet. I am available for assignments and eager to explore creative possibilities with you.
